  • Gather

Welcome to the Newman House—your home away from home, just down the hill from Carver Hall. Open daily from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm during the school year, it’s a place to study, pray, eat, and relax. Enjoy our chapel, kitchen, dining and living rooms, study spaces, and free Wi-Fi. All are welcome!

  • Explore

Each semester, we set aside a weekend to explore culture together. In the fall, we’ll head to Washington, D.C. or Philadelphia for a day of discovery. In the spring, we travel to New York City for the New York Encounter—an unforgettable experience.

A diverse group of people posing for a photo in front of a "Welcome to New York Encounter" sign. The setting appears to be an indoor venue with wooden floors and columns. Several individuals are smiling, and a few are kneeling or crouching in the front. There is a child in a stroller holding a stuffed animal.
  • Celebrate!

At the Newman House, we celebrate all year long with themed parties and festive gatherings! From Oktoberfest and the Super Bowl to Christmas and Cinco de Mayo, there's always something fun happening—come join the celebration!
